Justin Giroux

Executive Chef Justin Giroux spent many years working his way up in certified commercial kitchens and leading establishments in the Nation’s Capital. He perfected his techniques and broadened his culinary experience at Benny’s Bistro and Boulanger français. For nearly a decade, he enjoyed the culinary challenges at the Fairmont Château Laurier. He held the position of Executive Chef at renowned Ashbury College and Le Belvédère, one of Canada’s loveliest wedding and special events venues. Today, he leads Gourmet-Xpress, a successful social enterprise known for doing good and great catering. Since 2004, Justin Giroux has also been teaching the Culinary Arts Program at Ottawa’s La Cité.



Simon Bélanger

Simon Bélanger is passionate about people and food. Clients rely on him for a worry-free catering experience. As Gourmet-Xpress’ catering advisor, his focus is on meeting your specific needs and tailoring the menu to your expectations and budget. The last 10 years have been dedicated to acquiring extensive experience in different positions, settings and establishments in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. He has done it all—from waiting tables to managing kitchens, planning menus and ensuring quality control. Fluently bilingual, he is a proud graduate of La Cité’s Culinary, Hotel and Restaurant Management Program.
